Solidarity Urban Farms is part of Church of the Redeemer’s mission to empower ourselves and our neighbors to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
It all started when…
Rev. Alex Barton and Jim GoForth dreamed of providing fresh, local, and nutritious food to the surrounding neighbors and community. Since the summer of 2020, we’ve grown to have 4 full-time staff, 10 plots, two markets, three winter craft shows, weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) boxes to WIC participants, free weekly cookouts, hundreds of pounds of food donated to Redeemer’s community meals, and so much more.
